The Salishan 2018 conference is coming up soon! Please mark your calendars for the 2018 Oregon State Bar Workers’ Compensation Section’s Annual Meeting. We will gather for the conference Friday, May 11, 2018 through Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Salishan Lodge on the beautiful central Oregon Coast. Click here to register.

The conference planning committee is putting together an exciting and informative program with CLE credits (approval pending). We will kick off with a lunchtime keynote speech by Justice (retired) Jack L. Landau of the Oregon Supreme Court. Following an update from the Board, there will be presentations about a variety of topics, including opioid addiction and chronic pain, vocational rehabilitation, an update regarding Brown v. SAIF, course and scope doctrines, employment in the gig economy, how the Board functions, and interpretation and translation. The conference will conclude with our popular appellate law update.

As usual, there will be a family-friendly reception Friday evening. Please plan to join your colleagues for beverages, good food, and great conversation following the afternoon presentations.
